GravityMarket comes “out of the box� as a complete ecommerce solution. Our standard “core� offering gets your ecommerce system up and running in a search engine optimal manner. We find that many of our clients have custom requirements that are specific to their ecommerce business needs. In order to address these needs GravityMarket has additional functional modules that may be configured.

GravityMarket makes use of object oriented programming. This provides extra coding reliability while adding custom modules to the standard “core� infrastructure.

Custom Modules

Enhanced Merchandising

  • Advanced Discounting: Some online retailers look for a a greater degree of cross-channel promotion between their mail catalogs and their ecommerce sites. If you provide promotional offers based on catalog coupon codes we can customize a module to fit your needs. Advanced discounting can also be configured to allow for one time only discounts as well as provide additional reporting details on promo code usage.
  • Pricing Tiers: Offering price incentives to your customers for purchasing in higher volumes can be a strong offering. GravityMarket can be configured based on your quantity rules to allow for proper representation of volume sku pricing.
  • Price Schedules: B-B ecommerce sites typically have accounts that are offered special pricing based on the purchase volume or customer status of the account. Typically there is an online application process, which must be completed and approved prior to receiving special pricing. Then upon logging into their customer accounts, your visitors can view their specific pricing levels.
  • Advanced Search: An internal site search filtration mechanism can be installed in order to help guide your visitors through the search result selection process. Simply provide Acumium with your internal site search requirements and we can direct you to an optimal solution.
  • Advanced Email: Event based email campaigns provide an excellent means of staying in front of you customers at the right time. Advanced email provides the ability to track event based email campaigns for opens, click through rates and ultimately sales conversions.
  • Gift Wrapping: If your customers purchase birthday or holiday gifts from your online store gift wrapping can be an excellent addition to your ecommerce implementation.

Payment Options

Providing visitors a variety of ways to pay for merchandise puts them more in control of their online shopping experience. GravityMarket can be configured to allow for the following payment option modules:

  • Paypal: This is a well established consumer payment option. Paypal implementations allow for shoppers to select Paypal instead of using a credit card for check out.
  • Bill Me Later: Buy now, pay later. Should you want to provide your visitors this payment option, let us know and we can configure Bill Me Later for your ecommerce solution.
  • Gift Certificates: Electronically emailed gift certificates are great for shoppers that like to provide the gift of choice on your website. We can even enhance the gift certificate module in order to allow your customers make their own denomination as well as print them off.

Product Feeds

  • Google Base Feed: Formerly Froogle, now the Google Base feed provides product information for inclusion in Google Products Search. This is a relatively low cost source of additional traffic through Google Products Search. Regularly scheduled automatic uploads allow you to configure this feed, then simply monitor the referral source traffic.
  • Amazon Feed: Some clients open up the Amazon shopping channel online, but still have the need to process information through their ecommerce system. GravityMarket can be configured to connect with Amazon so that you may view your ecommerce channel through one central interface.
  • Yahoo Shopping Feed: There are plenty of shoppers on Yahoo Shopping. Configuration of a Yahoo Shopping feed provides you access to this buying pool.
  • General Feed: Sometimes you simply need a general product feed which you can share with people such as; affiliate partners, internal site search partners or other shopping portals.

Product Configuration

Additional configurations and product relationships can enhance your ecommerce merchandising power.

  • Advanced Product Relationships: This moves beyond simple cross sell/up sell relations. Perhaps you have a high velocity item which you would like to merchandise on its respective category and sub-category pages. Advanced product relationships can provide you the power to drive focus on that item.
  • Product Rating: Tell us what you think, on a scale of 1 – 5. A simple product rating provides consumers a quick view into the consumer perspective.
  • Customer Reviews: These reviews provide optimal User Generated Content. GravityMarket can be configured to flow a customer review back to your web administrative interface. You may then moderate the review and post to the sku page in order to provide extra consumer confidence.
  • Product Bundles: This provides you the capability of selling products, X, Y, and Z under a single unique product sku. Or, if you are looking for something a little more complex we can configure a system to allow for a package to be created made up from combining a group of unique skus.

Functional Enhancements

  • Complex Shipping Rules: Multiple freight carriers, several freight tables, let us know what your shipping business rule requirements are and we will configure our GravityMarket system around those online needs.
  • Wish List: These provide your visitors to create a list of products from your website, which can be shared with others. Enhanced functionality can generate reports on these wish lists for targeted future promotional offers.
  • Supply List: Primarily for the B – B market these provide customers a simple means of automatically adding commonly purchased products to their shopping carts with just a few clicks.
  • Re-order: Play it again Sam, this expedites re-orders from a customers’ account. Upon viewing their Order History they may simply reorder the same products and flow through the check out process.
  • Quoting: Many B – B ecommerce shops need to provide their visitors an online quoting option. GravityMarket can allow shoppers to convert their shopping carts into a quote request, which can be sent to your customer service/sales team for routing and response.
  • Catalog Quick Order: This brings a multi channel approach to your online presence by allowing customers to swiftly drop in skus from their catalogs into their shopping carts for purchase.
  • Currency Conversion: Acumium is an international organization, we understand that your customers may be from countries outside of the United States. Reporting

  • Customer Segmentation: Assigning customer segmentation codes can be a powerful means to market to your consumers online.
